Karen and Darren took over the Black Bull in august 2009 and would like to offer you a big Yorkshire warm welcome to the Black Bull Stairfoot Barnsley. Located at the side of the Trans Pennine trail it is a good place to start a walk or bike ride. It has also a lot of local historical places to visit like the monk Bretton priory and cannon hall just to mention a few.

Karen is the pub manager

Karen is the pub's manager, and is only too happy to help make your stay in the area as enjoyable as possible, if it’s a drink at the bar, food from our kitchen or something for your room or information about a local attraction. Just ask and she will do her best to find out.
